I was born in Budapest. From 1942 to 1944, I was on labor service, serving as a doctor, then became a professor at the Surgery Department No. I. of the Surgery Further Training Clinic. I was awarded the Kossuth Prize as a surgeon in 1954. I implemented cardiac catheterization, and introduced the most up-to-date surgical methods of the congenital abnormalities of cardiac development.
